Wordless Wednesday CITY ART SHOW 8/10/11

Our beautiful, creative & generous friend, Jennifer, gives art classes as a gift to her neighborhood children… and she invites my kids, too. This year Max was old enough to join in the fun… he counted the days between classes. This is a quick picture overview of his art show at the end of the summer classes (including the tie-dye shirt he’s wearing in the last picture).               Thank you, Jennifer!

There’s a zillion other people posting pics today.  Wordless Wednesday

Few Words Wednesday, Zoe’s Bday!

Our baby girl is now 11 years old.

spunky, full of life, loves Jesus, full of ideas, creativity, songs, watching out

for her younger brothers, keeping her older sisters on their toes,

dancing, cooking, trying new things, unintimidated, confident,

aware of others, reads her Bible every night, cracks us up, a lovely person I totally love being with!… and  much more!

She created a Chocolate Ice Cream Layered Cup-O-Cake  for her celebration.

Here’s how she did it… in pictures!

And, as part of the fun, everyone dipped pretzel rods into yummy

chocolate and decorated them with colorful sprinkles. Then later

each person took home their tasty treat! (except for a couple people

who forgot theirs… and we accidentally ate them after lunch today)

Wordless Wednesday, Patriotic Banner Tutorial

Using fabric scraps and old denim jeans I made this banner to

decorate our yard on July 4th. Here’s how… in pictures only.

(Note: I wasn’t driving. Just waiting for my daughter to finish

 cheer camp for the day.)
